The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has officially released the Seed Certification Officer Recruitment 2026 notification to fill 19 vacancies under the Telangana Seed & Organic Certification Authority (TSOCA). This recruitment is an excellent opportunity for Agriculture graduates and postgraduates who are looking to secure a prestigious government job in Telangana.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Seed Certification Officer post must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. Agriculture from an ICAR-recognized university.
- OR M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in:
- Seed Technology
- Plant Breeding
- Agronomy
- Plant Physiology
Candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before submitting the online application.
Age Limit
Applicants must satisfy the following age criteria as on 01 July 2026:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 44 Years
Age relaxation will be applicable according to Telangana Government rules.
- SC/ST/BC/EWS Candidates – 5 Years
- Persons with Disabilities (PH) – 10 Years
Salary
Candidates selected for the Seed Certification Officer post will receive a monthly salary ranging from:
₹51,320 to ₹1,27,310
Apart from the basic pay, employees will also receive admissible government allowances and other service benefits.

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of an Objective Type Written Examination.
The examination includes:
- Paper-I: General Studies & General Abilities
- Paper-II: Agriculture Subject
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination and other procedures prescribed by TGPSC.
Application Process
The application process is completely online. Candidates need to complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the TGPSC portal if they have not registered previously. After completing OTR, applicants can submit the online application form and upload the required documents before the deadline.
